Scorchnet is the Simplicitrix/Stabilized Simplicitrix's DNA sample of a Vespernan from Aestu Espa.
Appearance[]
Scorchnet is a large, insectoid being. His body is covered in a thick exoskeleton made out of lava rocks, which are colored primarily brown and yellow. His six legs end in large spikes that act as feet, and can grapple things with their hook-like ends. His face has two, thin, red eyes. Scorchnet sports two large pincers on either side of his sideways mouth He has a horn on his head, similar to that of a rhinocerous beetle. His body is engulfed with yellow flames. His wings are made up entirely out of orange fire. He wears the Simplicitrix on his chest.
Powers[]
- Scorchnet has pyrokinesis. His wings are entirely made out of flames as well, giving him pyrokinetic flight. His body in general is pyrokinetic as well.
- Scorchnet has the ability to cough up magma.
- Scorchnet can create molten honey.
- Due to Alan's abilities, Scorchnet has the ability of fourth wall awareness.
Weaknesses[]
- Due to his fire powers, it can be inferred that Scorchnet is weak to water and other flame retardants.
- Scorchnet's constantly flaming body can be a hazard to objects around him.

- Scorchnet's name is a portmonteau of the words "scorch" and "hornet."
- Scorchnet's species name comes from the Latin word "vespa," meaning wasp, and the word "inferno," meaning fire.
- Scorchnet's planet name comes from the Latin words "aestu es," meaning scorch, and "vespa."

- Credits to CaT for redrawing Scorchnet. The design originally had colors akin to Heatblast in the Ben 10 continuity, but were later changed to be taken from that of a killer hornet.
