Justice League: Aftermath is an upcoming fanfiction series revolving around the DC Universe.

Plot

It has been three months since the untimely and mysterious demise of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. In that time, the Justice League has tried to rebuild, though the absence of the big three has left the world in shambles. On the street level, the Question works obsessively to investigate their deaths, convinced that whatever caused the event was just a precursor to a much larger threat.

• The use of the Question as the series' main character while focusing on a story dealing with the League was to operate in a grey area between the greater DC universe and the more down-to-earth side of the lore.
• The story revolving around the big three League members being dead was to ensure focus would be given to other characters on a more major level, although said three will appear via flashback scenes only. Yes, this is a comic fanfiction, and comics have a very loose definition of dead, but they are definitively dead in this story.
• This series takes place on Earth-1998. This number was chosen as it was the year Eminem was signed to Aftermath Entertainment, playing off the series' title.
