Edward Nygma (primarily known as The Riddler) serves as an antagonist in Justice League: Aftermath.
Appearance[]
Edward is a Caucasian man with green eyes and red hair. He wears a bright green jumpsuit covered with purple question marks, as well as purple gloves and boots. He has a golden belt with a question mark insignia on the buckle, and a bowler hat matching his suit. He wields a golden cane with a question mark handle, and has a green question mark tattoo around his left eye.
Personality[]
It isn't currently known what this version of Edward's personality is like.
History[]
In Case 1: Oswald Cobblepot, the Riddler was seen in a poker game hosted by Carmine Falcone, going against the Scarecrow, Kite-Man, and Calendar Man. The round depicted in the episode has him lose to Kite-Man.
Powers[]
- Edward has genius level intellect, constantly proving to be a rival to Batman's intelligence. He also uses his brains for creating machines, traps, and the like to combat Batman, as well as use it for his own escapes from traps or Arkham.
- Edward's cane can be used in a combative sense, but more often generates a confusion beam that disorients his opponents. If someone is exposed to this for too long, it can do irreparable mental damage.
Weaknesses[]
- Edward, at least without his cane, has no supernatural powers, and is susceptible to those that do.
- Edward's ego has more often than not been his downfall, as his riddles often give away his plans and if they are deduced before he's ready, can result in him having a premature loss.
Appearances[]
- Case 1: Oswald Cobblepot (debut, cameo)
Trivia[]
- Edward's model art as made using Charles Zenith's model art from Ben 10: Omniverse.
- Edward's design takes heavy inspiration from the Jim Carrey incarnation from Batman Forever, including the question mark tattoo around his eye referencing the mask he wore at the end of the movie.
