And Then There Were 10 is the first episode of Clock 10: Choose Your Own Adventure.

Plot[]

While going on a camping trip with his cousin Taryn and grandfather Geralt, Clock goes on a walk on his own through the woods. During his walk, he's interrupted by the sudden crash of a strange pod.

Approaching the pod, Clock sees it open up to reveal a grey, watch-like device inside: the Omnitrix. Reaching for it, the Omnitrix latches onto Clock's right wrist. After messing with the device, it shows him a variety of ten different icons.

Clock selects the ghostly ninth icon, transforming him into Ghostfreak. Surprised, Ghostfreak discovers he has several powers, such as flight and invisibility. However, he eventually hears a faint voice in the back of his mind. The voice introduces itself as Zs'Skayr, remarking that he's trapped inside the Omnitrix. However, before he can finish talking, the Omnitrix times out, and Clock becomes human again.

After the Omnitrix recharges, Clock intends on becoming Ghostfreak again, activating the Omnitrix and selecting his icon, only to be transformed into Four Arms instead. Deciding to determine this forms powers, Four Arms ends up causing some trees to fall down like dominos towards a campsite.

Chasing after the trees, Four Arms manages to get some campers out of the way when he gets to the site. He then proceeds to keep a tree from falling on his family's camper, but ends up causing a tree to fall onto another camper, unintentionally ending those inside.

Four Arms hides from the campers as he transforms back, then runs back to meet with his family, learning from his mistake of accidental killing for his future endeavors with the Omnitrix.

Trivia[]

  • This is the shortest chapter of CYOA, bar perhaps Save the Last Dance. This is because the idea of doing CYOA on a more regular basis wasn't an idea at the time, and it was originally just a one off fun thing between Alan and Clock. It wasn't until the next episode that it would become a series.
